I know someone who was working inside 1 World Trade Center that morning and got out. I was watching it burn, after being told a jet hit it, and we all thought it was a terrible accident until the South tower, 2 WTC, was hit. I saw it happen.

Yes, actually. In my experience there's a September 11th every year. It tends to occur between the 10th and the 12th of September if that helps, so it's right around the corner now. And if you're referring to the specific events that occurred in the United States in 2001, yes, those things definitely happened. Whether or not they unfolded exactly the way the US government claims they did is another matter altogether; however, if you're asking whether or not something awful resulted in the death of thousands of people, the answer would be "Yes, it happened."
