  13. If the US starts losing rights/ability to operate in Iraq, a likely side effect is losing safe/legal border access to Syria. It might not be impossible to keep some troops with SDF anyway—the US can do a lot of things, and KRG isn't Baghdad—but Trump seems moderately interested.
