See below a refreshed, more impactful Homepage design, then I feel may work well for the homepage.
Stronger use of colour. You'll see that the signup form itself has been removed. Two large CTAs, one at the top, and bottom of the page would link through to signup.
I think the look and feel are quite strong and distinctive. You'll notice that the yellow from the logo is being reused to good effect I think.
Some things to consider.
The three 'points' maybe need to be condensed. Currently, we have privacy, transparency and open discourse. The three I feel are quite closely related in a way.
In order to appeal to as wide a group as possible, perhaps we could condense these to the following three themes.
- Privacy / Transparency (no manipulation, data not sold, not spying etc)
- Make money from contributions (Subscription tiers, contributions etc)
- Touch on features (Minds TV, Blog etc)
Let me know what you think.

Thanks @michaelfbradley - i think it is certainly better than what we have now.
I think we need to clean up the top section marketing language a bit but overall I think the design is much better and it is a lot more clear what Minds is all about.
A few minor design tweaks:
- the bulb in the top left is extra longated (maybe two icons on top of one another)
- the super-imposed screenshot is close to what we have now, but I notice it has some designs that are not yet implemented. is this an issue?
- not sure about the yellow line next to Minds above the main slogan area. any reason you did it that way?
- i would update the images a bit to more closely fit the context of the panel. for example, the transparency bit ideally would show a screenshot of our gitlab page perhaps. and the open discourse should maybe should a comment thread on a post, not analytics/wallet, etc.
nice work

Agreed! I think we need to show all the features of the app on the homepage as well and some featured channels in similar format to the press

@michaelfbradley please can we make sure that @eiennohi has everything he needs to start this task on Wednesday 23rd?

Will do @markeharding - I'll need to fit in a half-day between now and then for amends, but shouldn't be an issue.

Part of me wants to keep things minimal as well like this https://urbit.org/. So beautiful, minimal and modern. I mean this is extreme, but generally I want to see the UX maintain total elegance and future feel. Even snapchat has this kind of feel
