6.the LNA is established (Libya National army) led by General Khalifa Haftar and is under the Authority of The House of Representatives. In 2014 the LNA launched Operation dignity aimed at Fighting the GNC the Islamists and Shura councils that established across Libya territory

7. After a United Nations led Initiative to bring Peace and stability to Libya. The Government of National Accord was formed led by Fayez Serrag. Which Enjoyed International recognition.

8. October 2014-December 2017. The battle if Benghazi rages between the LNA and the Islamic state and the Shura councils in Benghazi resulting in. A Major LNA takeover the 2nd biggest city in Libya.

9. the LNA Led by Khalifa Haftar begin to challenge the Islamic state across the LIBYAN territory and begin to liberate the Eastern Libyans from the Terrorists of Daesh.

10. The GNA was also involved in battles and Liberated Sirte from ISIS.

11. CEASEFIRE due to the Mediation from Algeria, Italy , Tunisia and several states Ceasefire is reached in Libya

12. The LNA backers are: Egypt UAE KSA France Russia GNA backers: Qatar Italy Turkey Algeria(More neutral) Tunisia(Also Neutral)

13. Egypt backs the LNA because it's mostly a security issue, Egypt has suffered from terrorism the last 6 years with the Muslim brotherhood and violence spilling from the Unstable conditions that gave ISIS in Libya the power to thrive in the Oil rich region.

14. UAE AND KSA ever since the Arab spring have taken a radical approach and have challenged every uprising with there backed puppets to make sure Islamists never take power or Iranian backed puppets. (see Yemen)

15. France has been suffering largely from the instability from the Sahel because it holds many interests and a Unstable Libya prevents that exact thing from happening.

16. The GNA backers Italy wants Libya to stabilize due to the Refugee crisis (Italy may shift positions seeing that LNA is near victory.)

17. Algeria and Tunisia want this civil war to end because it's a major security risk and has taken precautions to defend the borders The issue with Algeria is that it feels it's very cornered. Mali in the south , Libya in the east.

18. Qatar challenges the Axis Of UAE/KSA/EGYPT and funds the Islamists and Muslim brotherhood wherever the opportunity proceeds

19. A Major event that unfolds in North Africa but not Libya. But Algeria. On February 22, the country sees large protests mvoement calling for the fall of Abdelaziz Bouteflika the president at the time.

20. April 2nd 2019. Abdelaziz Bouteflika is no more president of Algeria and a power vacuum possibility begins in Algeria a major Country that prevented Haftar and the LNA to advance. April 4th 2019, Haftar calls for it's forces to Liberate Tripoli.

21 Battle for Tripoli begins as thousands are displaced with the GNA being able to repel the attack with help from the Misrata alliance who rushed in the defence of Tripoli.

22. The Major issues with the GNA is that it had no Military support that could challenge Haftar. So the GNA allied themselves with the Muslim brotherhood and ISIS/Al Qaeda eleme ts to become the fighting force of the "legitimate government"

23. December 2019 the GNA signs a deal with Turkey that states a change in Maritime borders affecting the greek island of Crete

24. Erdogan on national television states that if GNA requests it, Turkey will send troops to Libya to assist the GNA which the GNA accepts

25. The LNA sees this as an act of war and begins bombarding the city of Misrata with more than 50 Airstrikes. And declares airspace closure to every flight.

26. Egypt army delegations meet with the Army delegations of Algeria in Algiers after the funeral of the Chief of Staff Ahmed Gaid Salah (power vacuum within Algeria army!)

28. Fighting intensifies in Tripoli and LNA is kilometres away from Tripoli centre risking imminent fall of the capital.

29. The Arrival of 100s of Syrian jihadists who are back by turkey in Libya to assist the GNA. This despite Turkey parliament voting to approve Military intervention in Libya.
