Wire Donations / Contributions Are Only Available Via Channel Section
Summary
Within a previous version of the platform, I believe that it was possible to include the /wire URL to direct users to the wire facility. However within a recent update, the URL now redirects to /pay, which forces users to only have access to the wire facility via the channel section and limits providing direct access to the wire facility from within group profile statements, blog articles and posts.
What is the expected correct behavior?
Provide the owner (of the corresponding blog article, post or group) with the opportunity to post their associated wire URL so that their audience can further (easily) send the owner wires.
Possible fixes
Implement the ability to allow users to post an address similar to the following (which in-turn provides the dialog box that is already implemented within the channel section)

@Johnthetester,
I believe that having the ability to add the wire href to users content (blog articles, profile statements and possibly posts) could help to further encourage users to use the wire facility.I agree with your four points but would also like to see the implementation of an actual wire URL (something akin to the existing referral URL, ie. ?wire=[username]) which can then be optionally included within the users content.
Also further thinking about the third point (ie. logged out user routes to register via splash page), it would be good if the register route (for logged out users) included the content creators (who has published said content) referral URL suffix.
