In the old days, they used to cover up war crimes. Now, it's like they glorify in them. It is striking how the Seal command and the POTUS went out of its way to protect a chief who seemed to have been a psychopath who was increasingly out of control.

This is the kind of thing that won't go away. The Navy screwed up the investigation and the prosecution. He may have done those things, but the investigatorial and prosecutorial misconduct is a greater threat to the military justice system.

I’ve never served and certainly wasn’t there to know what exactly happened. However, it is clear to me Navy leadership failed in every sense of the word.

I’ve read enough about this to know I know nothing. What still bothers me though is why aren’t we talking about 8 freaking deployments? This is insanity. Just because guys can and will, doesn’t mean as a nation, we should send them into combat for basically 8 years.

There’s a truth and lie in every situation! How do you tell the difference. I can look at someone and see if they are lying. Not everyone can!!

I don’t believe we can expect any man to be in combat that long and not expose them to serious unforeseen consequences.
