    The countries that back the parties to conflict in Libya will avoid direct confrontation and support local forces with the aim of controlling their decision. Then they will focus on power and resources sharing.

    Erdogan does not recognize that the danger of sending troop to Libya will be greater over himself. The Gulf States were not able to fight him in Syria & Qatar, however, Libya will be a perfect battlefield for them to fight him. Libya will be a quagmire of death for the TR Troops. …

    Some wonder why SNA send reinforcements to Idlib instead of launching attacks from Azaz or Elbab. Such a move would be faced by regime and Russia expanding their bombardment all over SNA held areas, bringing misery, death and displacing to millions of people.

    I do not expect any serious fight to defend the M5. There could be some face saving counter offensive though.

    Either rebels counter in the next rainy days or the regime will advance towards Idlib City when they are done with Maarat.

    Under current conditions, Syrian territorial integrity necessitate Assad regime retaking control of all Syria. Cosmetic changes to the regime by adding some agents of regional and western countries mean nothing.

    The only hope of the revolution after Russia's intervention was dividing the country to get an autonomous region. But Turkey has insisted on the territorial integrity of Syrian territory to foil the YPG project, thus enabling regime to retake all of the country sooner or later.

    On an individual level I understand every rebel that is overwhelmed in fear by the insane 24/7 bombardement while he got just an AKM with a few mags and zero effective means to fight back. This knowing his family next town is bombarded this minute and you are not there to help.

    Giving the same space to all news regardless of their significance is misleading. e.g. Some write many tweets about the routine skirmishes that take place on frontlines in Aleppo, Kabbani, Ghab... and one or two tweets about the fall of a dozen towns in eastern Maarat al Numan.

    It is a vicious circle where Turkey blames HTS for refusing to implement Russian/Turkish agreement about DMZ and reopening of M5 & M4. HTS blames SNA for not fighting regime in northern Aleppo. SNA blames HTS for its inability to defend Idlib.

    Idlib civilians are being killed by Russian airstrikes, rebels retreating faster than you can see, HTS blaming Turkish-backed rebels, Turkish-backed rebels blaming HTS, Turkish soldiers are observing Assad's victory and Assad is laughing his ass off.

    regime’s Parliament passed new changes of the conscription law, the regime now can seize movable and immovable assets of men who are eligible for the conscription but didn't do it and they became older than 42yo until they pay 8k $ to remove seizure

    It does not feel good when you find that the person who once held the highest position in the Syrian opposition is among the founders of a new Turkish party. The same when the head of the "interim government" sits near a Turkish flag and acts like a high commissioner.
