1. Go to discovery feed
2. Hit the text trending on the sidebar
3. Observe none or few tags load.

What is the current bug behavior?

a) Few or no tags are returned. b) Though the code shows otherwise, it appears as if null values are cached.

What is the expected correct behavior?

Null values should not be cached (check this is the case), and there should be more tags returned. Maybe the abstract bar for what constitutes a trending tag is set too high.
