  1. For the Syriac Military Council (of which the HSNB is the female wing) this has been the 2nd prominent delegation just a month after this one:

Never forget that back this summer, regime military sources literally photoshopped their own checkpoint out of an HTS photoset to claim that it was destroyed before reaching its target. Remember this whenever pro-gov social media claims a failed attack.

  8. The -based, loyalist militia used a variant of the NPU's logo for quite some time. From what can be heard the latter wasn't too happy about it. Sootoro have had a second logo in use and pretty much stopped using the NPU copy at least from 2017 on

  12. SSNP (most importantly its Intifada wing [see table below]) has been quite keen on emphasizing that it is an opposition party in ; also after the start of the unrest/war. Though Haidar's SSNP in fact did leave NPF bloc 2012-2014, it had to rely

  15. A little proportion in regarding the last point: - the two biggest cities in TFSA-held NE (Tel Abyad&Ras al-Ayn) had less than 50k inhabitants pre war - al-Hawl camp is home to ~75k, az-Zaatari to ~80k

New facts emerging on the ground on Khabur. Syrian and MFS flags flying together atop Tal Jemaa (Halmon) village water tower. Seems mostly Syrian flags around otherwise save for one big Assyrian flag. Reflects military arrangement for now, but perhaps signs of a future order?

  39. Btw, casualty figures above should be read with a grain of salt. 1) Consider a KIA-WIA ratio of roughly 1:3-1:5, a lot more fighters could be counted as casualties 2) Syriac Military Council's general command potentially does not report exact numbers -->
