    On May 27, 2018 the started to disband Liwa Thuwwar Raqqa after weakening them for years by denying any US supplies. The video below is the last appearance of their leader Abu Issa. Since June 25 he was under house arrest in Ain Issa & no one knows about his whereabouts.

    In the period until the disbanded Liwa Thuwwar Raqqa and took their leader "Abu Issa" under house arrest, the YPG has took away any control area of Liwa Thuwwar Raqqa & prevented any US supplies to reach them including the Turkish-American joint Train & Equip project.

    In contrast to the lies of that Turkey shut down the border to Tal Abyad after it was cleaned from ISIS; The crossing was opened after years of closure due to ISIS When the YPG broke its promise & got control, TR shut down the border again

    Border crossing with Turkey will open its doors next week.

    Liwa Thuwwar Raqqa & the YPG made a deal that the Arab town/region of Tal Abyad won't be under the control of the YPG but would be held by the , mainly Liwa Thuwwar Raqqa. The group even denied allegations of a future -control over Tal Abyad in the pre-op phase.

    Russia had tried a similar approach in Tal Rifaat and the Sahba region before to form a Russian-controlled Kurdish force. At that time, Russia offered the biggest salaries in Syria by far and send special force to command them. It failed miserably. Most even don't know of it.
