I can relate the two flights I took to LA to visit my friend Charlena. We had been talking online for about a year when I decided to souprise her by buying her concert tickets for a band she loved and getting her back stage passes to meet them. I don't like the idea that guys come on to me (not that I'm opposed to a hookup), and I'd be more comfortable around women. I just don't want anybody upset.

This is why I would try to avoid public restrooms unless they had lockable doors. In this case, an attendant says, "Miss, the ladies room is on the other end." I was happy to be told that, but I explained that I didn't want to make any women uncomfortable. Plus, there's always the chance it turns into an ugly public scene.
