    So, not the same. The new body will be, for now, headed by Mazen al-Khamous (who replaced Khaled Al-Muhaisen as Chairman of the Nazaha August 30th 2019) who will be able to name " whomever he deems to exercise some of those powers entrusted to him."

    If this means the Presidency for State Security's Mabahith is integrated within the anti-corruption body, it's really significant and not comforting for activists. Though, I must say, I don't know if it's the same Mabahith they are…

    If this means the Presidency for State Security's Mabahith is integrated within the anti-corruption body, it's really significant and not comforting for activists. Though, I must say, I don't know if it's the same Mabahith they are talking about here. Anyone ?

    Good cop bad cop approach with all quartet’s efforts (specially the 3 GCC states) being synchronized as precise as a Swiss watch I presume. Yet some ill informed remarks will be out there to give a false impression of division.. which GCC nationals in general became immune to.
