Jaded by his sonic palette and working methods, Haley changed out his equipment and constructed a new set of core sounds to work with. The result is Persuasion System, a record that builds on Haley’s previous successes while still remaining identifiable as a Com Truise collection. Please show your love and support for Com Truise! I can relate as well as I approach my mid-30s. It's crazy to think where the genre of Synthwave was at the end of the last decade, and now here we are approaching the end of another decade. I'm a huge fan, but I slightly miss the audacity of first albums. It's like all artists "aging" try to be more and more subtle, removing all superfluous crazy sounds until it becomes so subtle it's just casual music and all songs sound the same. I guess they just dig into their memories more than in their current feelings, still I'm completely hooked to his music. Saw him recently, I can tell you he really improved his live shows and you can tell the difference between his music and the casual synth wave dj who tries to be sooo 80s. 1 Barad-dûr Barad-dûr 1 month ago Yeah, probably. Even his two opening musicians were awesome! I loved the wry smile he'd emit when he was "working" up on stage when the crowd would let out some silly "whoop" or cheer! Tom starts nodding his head and shit, gets into the groove, thinks to himself: "damn this is great, what is that?" Looks at the radio screen sees Com Truise and gets confused for the whole day, thinks about it for the rest of the day, doesn't sleep well. In the morning asks his manager to find this guy. Next thing you know they meet, talk about music, life after death and all that sort of stuff. Then out of nowhere Tom leaves Scientology and begins to lead a normal life, starts lecturing people what a load of bullcrap Scientology is and little by little that religion and the movement itself collapses and world becomes a better place. Thank you, Com Truise Weirdo man child 88 Weirdo man child 88 6 months ago Favorite artist of mine ever since I heard Klymaxx by accident some odd 7 years ago perhaps. It used to be Depeche Mode and NIN going then into synthwave where for a shortime I was going like Lazerhawk and MPM is teh shit lol, until I realised I hadn't heard "REAL" synth music (I love synthwave btw lol) but this guy is just something else far and beyond... Just amazing, was hyped for this, been hearing Existance Schematic first thing in the morning and kinda on loop the whole day since it came out, and now I wake up to this... damn. I think it's too soon to tell but this might be even better than Iteration, jesus xD ALL HAIL SETH HALEY TEH LOARD! 3 Luke K Luke K 6 months ago wow this one is amazing. Very tasty. 1 Alejandro Mendoza Perez Alejandro Mendoza Perez 6 months ago the visuals i get is like a photoshop collage of pictures from the galaxy 1 Ian Fitzpatrick Ian Fitzpatrick 6 months ago Alejandro Mendoza Perez very Arecibo ? Jose Manuel Gonzalez Jose Manuel Gonzalez 6 months ago Uff...I can see many haters in this new album. Tired about trap babies? t3l3phasicworksh0p t3l3phasicworksh0p 6 months ago Please Please Please DO NOT RIP THIS......BUY IT! It is an absolute work of genius that deserves recognition and respect for the artist. "comerademusic" thanks for posting the links. If we don't support the original artists on these smaller labels then we all lose out on such innovative musical experiences. 1 Nate Poch Nate Poch 6 months ago If you're not listening to this with either high-fidelity headphones or a suped-up sound system, you're doing it wrong. 3 shimwillynonkin shimwillynonkin 6 months ago I listen to this through an empty tin can placed over an earbud. Sounds great. Track 8 is great and track 4 ist really awesome, but the rest doesn't move me at all. You can hate me for that but it's just what I feel since music is all about preference. Iteration was his peak to me. Comrade, do to your channel I discovered Demin and followed him ever since. In my opinion he is the one who understands perfectly to take the essence and dramatic appearance of Com's music and developed it further. That's why I highly appreciate his work and I think his tracks are an evolution of what Com once created. Adam Nelson Adam Nelson 6 months ago Yawn*. I listened to 28 minutes and was bored to sleep. Cameron Applegath Cameron Applegath 6 months ago Good thing the entire internet is here for you to find something else.... 3 redneckincanada redneckincanada 6 months ago Am I the only one on here that think this sucks compared to past albums??!? shimwillynonkin shimwillynonkin 6 months ago Well it's definitely different and more abtsract than them, more a soundtrack/landscape mood piece. Maybe he's just testing his new sounds out in sketches. I enjoy it though. vivec 7788 vivec 7788 5 months ago Obviously this is not for your peak it's for coming down. Steven Streight Steven Streight 6 months ago Rather mediocre compared to the fantastic "Galactic Melt". Sounds like he's run out of ideas and has lost his melodic genius. Very disappointing. Hard to get through the whole thing. Won't be listening to this again. 1 Jose Manuel Gonzalez Jose Manuel Gonzalez 6 months ago (edited) Steven Streight The inspiration is limited, he's not a machine, just human. Can you do synthwave as Seth it does? Steven Streight Steven Streight 6 months ago @Jose Manuel Gonzalez - I like listening to synthwave to relax, but I don't have any interest in making it. I do mostly abstract soundscapes. Every artist, including myself, goes through slumps, hits a brick wall artistically, when no new ideas occur and the old ideas are just re-done in a tired, lost manner, just to have something to give to fans who will hopefully be forgiving and find some good aspect to the new material, but as much as I love Com Truise, this "Persuasion System" is surprisingly dull to my ears. It's like he can't find a great melody, so he just throws some formulaic routines together for the hell of it. Sektion9 Sektion9 5 months ago This album slaps. To each his own. joe Ozer joe Ozer 6 months ago This album was super disappointing only 2 actual songs Ian Fitzpatrick Ian Fitzpatrick 6 months ago joe Ozer what 2 do you rank as “actual songs” 2 joe Ozer joe Ozer 6 months ago @Ian Fitzpatrick Existence Schematic and Ultrafiche of you. Rest is crap. Ian Fitzpatrick Ian Fitzpatrick 6 months ago joe Ozer ah, gotcha. well I could see if you think wordline or Gaussian or departure were just filler. existence schematic while higher energy fell flat to my ears. ultrafiche is super solid tho. but persuasion system, kontex and privilege escalation are still “songs” even if you didn’t like them. not calling a song a song is just a lazy criticism. 2 Nate Poch Nate Poch 6 months ago @joe Ozer I'm certainly glad I don't have your ears hahaha. Where's your music? 1 joe Ozer joe Ozer 6 months ago @Nate Poch 3 songs are just short intros...Kontex and Privilege Escalation are terrible.
