  13. The KDP allows no sort of gatherings which they have nothing to do to protests against the system. A gathering for in Erbil has not been an issue be4 as Garmiyani was killed by a PUK official. Under Masrour Barzani situation has even got worse.

  14. Some question why do people in Erbil, Sulaimani & Duhok not protesting. Look. Yesterday, about 15 to 20 journalists & activists gathered just to commemorate 's assassination. The KDP Asayish wanted to disperse by force & tried to confiscate NRT camera. Police state.

  24. 6 yrs ago today, following direct death threats from a PUK Political Bureau member & a top PUK militia official, Kurdish journalist Kawa Garmyani was assassinated. His widow Shirin Garmiyani is a Kurdistan Parliament member now, his son Amed has started started school now.

  26. In total 12 youth from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq had recently joined the SDF to fight against the Turkish army in NE , all had been arrested by the KDP while returning. After spending one week at the KDP prison, they were released yesterday evening.

  27. Several of those "the symbols of Kurdish liberation movement" have done 10s of crimes during pre & post 1991, such crimes MUST be told. Those crimes must not be hidden from the new generation. If we cannot question our past, we cannot have a better future. History should be told.
