- Man, that was one of my favorite scenes of the series with Jimmy giving the copier sales pitch and then flipping the script on them.

- NostalgiNorden the reviewer referenced suppressed guilt over Chuck's suicide. It seems plausible to me. Jimmy was disgusted by the possibility, that they were impressed by him. After that, he had lost respect for them....imo, this provides some nice insight into what made "Saul" tick.

- NostalgiNorden character development. A LOT of scenes in the show are like this and it’s one of the things that make the show great

- It was dumb as f***. They are running out of things to do.
- I like watch this show b/c I like the Saul charterer (most of the time). Not here. He's being a self-righteous idiot. Saul was never the self-righteous one, SMH. Quite the opposite. He's being an irrational idiot too.
- Let me guess. It's cuz he's emotional over his brother. Whatever.....that does not make you GO OUT OF CHARACTER necessarily.
- He is SUPPOSED to be a cunning intelligent witty (sometimes likable) lawyer/fixer. Not this emotional basket-case bullshit. Yes, there are times for that, but leading off this season with it is GARBAGE
- So yes, selling copier machines. NEW F**** LOW FOR THIS FRANCHISE
- And the pitch? I guess you were a sucker for it too. I guess all of you were. IT SUCKED. IT WAS FAR FROM PERFECT. IT REEKED OF DESPERATION WHICH IS ODD (B/C he is not desperate). It went on a minute too long as he started preaching to the choir and wasting everybody's time. FYI, having a job increases your odds of getting a job significantly. Yep, he look desperate, and not sane fucking reason too.
- THIS SEASON IS GOING TO SUCK!

- Yeah, so did I. That lassie can act. You could feel her passion and it made sense. In lesser shows, that sort of thing can easily be messed up if the audience isn't onboard with her motivations.
- I share Wowser's fears about the show being a prequel though.

- Thank you for sharing. Finally a YouTube video reviewer who doesn’t make it all about himself and put his face on 100% of the video :)

- Oh man — strongly agree. I guess 'it tests well' because so many youtubers put their face in every thumbnail but personally I find that really obnoxious. I don't even like seeing my own face pop up on all my Google accounts! Glad I'm not the only one who's put off by the face-fest.

- RiC David Haha I feel the same way! It’s so annoying when people have their faces close up in entire videos when it’s about movies/TV shows they’re reviewing/recapping and not them! I have no idea who they are and it’s not their fault but most are not so pretty to look at lol.
- I like this video because he shows me the best scenes from the episode. My mind visually connects what the narator is saying to the story. Saves me from having to go to my head to recall every detail of what I saw in the hour long episode which is impossible and ruins the point of a recap/review! :)

- As you mentioned close-ups, here's another thing that'll probably make you like it even less! A while ago I learned that seeing faces up close to the camera evokes the same aversion felt when somebody is talking to you too close to your face. Our brain sees it the same way and, unlike in person, no matter how far back we move it'll still feel that way. Even more reason to back the hell up when recording!

- RiC David Yssssh haha. That means maybe even Scarlet Johansson talking close up for a whole 10mins would make others feel uncomfortable and start to think she’s not so attractive :)

- re: Kim - agree 100%... never saw Kim so powerfully and totally committed to protecting Jimmy than that scene with Howard. The fact it was a bit unexpected (and perfectly acted) made it even more powerful..... and you KNOW it can't possibly end well........

- Watched this episode twice and I didn't notice the Hummel figurine catching Jimmy's eye during the interview. Jimmy rejecting the job offer makes much more sense now. UPDATE: and the call to Mike regarding the job Jimmy has for him.

- What's your thinking there? Because Jimmy spots it before he goes back in.

- John Miller
- You're right, I mis-remembered the scene. And in BCS Insider podcast for this episode, his rejecting the job offer is more to show the confusion/downer mental state of Jimmy currently. But it did stick with him, and it definitely seems like his call to Mike was regarding stealing that Hummel.

- Punkster
- She incorrectly interprets Jimmy's sudden change of behaviour as him not wanting to deal with the idea of Chuck committing suicide. When in actual fact, it was Jimmy's actions that lead to the death of his brother, which is why he was staring into space a lot. He has now passed his guilt over to Howard. Jimmy may have assumed he would get the blame from all his peers and Howard arrives with the intention of being honest and purging himself of the guilt but ends up leaving with Jimmy's cross to bear too.
- Kim sees his sudden change and thinks he is just blocking out the thought of Chuck committing suicide when the opposite is true. Jimmy now has someone else's feet to lay blame at. So, Kim blames Howard for laying that on him on the day of Chuck's funeral but again, she is wrong about Jimmy's motives.
- I think Howard is only half lying, he does feel guilty and he did want Jimmy to make him feel better but I think his intentions were mostly pure.
- Sorry, I am not very good at wording this stuff, so if I am repeating myself, it is only because I am struggling to put into words as to how I saw it. I should also point out, I am maybe completely wrong.

- Love ur twin peaks vids bro, but I'm also glad to see you finally venturing on to other great shows. Better Call Saul is definitely one of the best story driven shows out right now and one of my personal favs, so I was happy to see u of all people started doing episode analysis on it. Me and my mom watch all ur vids, so keep up the good work. Btw, I know nothing will probably ever compare to twin peaks, but if you're for something that might scratch that itch a little, check out Castle Rock on Hulu. It's a brand new show that I think you would definitely get hooked on that has about as deep of mystery as twin peaks

- 4:04 I think the reason the twins don't talk to their own uncle is because they don't particularly like him. They respect him and possibly fear him, but there is probably not a lot of love there. Hector did try to drown one of them when they were kids.

- https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Property_proposal/sigma_bond , https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Property_proposal/sigma_bonds
- I propose that a property for the number of sigma bond(s) and the number of pi bond(s) for a molecule be created. O=C=O (Q1997) has two sigma bonds and two pi bonds. H-O-H (Q283) has two sigma bonds and zero pi bonds. Cl-N=O (Q419266) has two sigma bonds and one pi bond. C≡N (Q55076544) has one sigma bond and two pi bonds. The values for this property could be very helpful in finding the amount of sigma and/or pi bonds in larger molecules, like sucrose (Q4027534), sucralose (Q410209), and cocaethylene (Q4586731).
