as we now have two buttons in the topbar (login and signup), Michael suggested creating another route /signup with only the register form, and /login would only have the login form. Please let me know your thoughts on this.

That's right - I'd like to separate these two areas out. Presenting both a registration form and a login for on a single page is a bit much. Separating them should reduce the overall noise on the page.
