Public service announcement to everyone writing, speaking, or reporting about armed conflicts: if you are not currently a serving member of the U.S. military, you are not obliged to use their dorky acronyms for what normal humans refer to as "bombs" and "car bombs."

  11. just came across this unimportant but mildly interesting tidbit but this al-Jisr video from April 2019 purportedly shows jets from Tabqa airbase being transported into the KRG to be sold for scrap

  12. not only does this have nothing to do with the search i inputed, the man feeding the crocodiles does not appear to be the assyrian in the title, the video is not in aramaic, and the crocodiles barely react... completely waste of time

Happy December 4th, Pete Buttigieg! Today marks the two-year anniversary of the demolition of this homeless encampment, under freezing temperatures, one of the many acts of class warfare that you directly ordered as Mayor. Oddly, you were nowhere to be seen here. Too cold out?

Truly one of the great mysteries of the Syrian war how all the FSA rebels suddenly disappeared in October 2019 and were replaced by Turkey-backed militants who coincidentally sit in their bases, obey their commanders, and use their names, flags, and tanks.
