incredible, original. i wonder if, when this music came out, the people who created it knew how great it was? often imitated, never duplicated. thanks for this.

Written and produced by the legendary Norman Whitfield (R.I.P.) with an assist from his protege, Mark Davis, who himself would go on to write and produce songs for the soundtrack to WHICH WAY IS UP, which starred the Pointer Sisters' CAR WASH co-star, Richard Pryor.

From https://8ch.net/b/res/7027063.html
This thread is partly archived at: https://hollaforums.com/thread/7027063/miscellaneous/stop-scrolling-and-read-this.html -- a spammy website and page which you shouldn't go to; also, I know for a fact that that web page modified the text contents of this thread and omitted various one posts,* post dates, post numbers, etc. For examples of this, consider the following:
* ">trump's big government is going to shit up the internet [\n] >will probably kill 4chan and Holla Forums, two major players in getting him elected
What a shocker, Trump's a fucking retard who hired a man who hates the internet to decide what to do with the internet." The text quoted with ">" does not appear anywhere else on the page. Also, there is other text which was originally quoted with ">" that only appears once. It is unlikely that all of the quoted text only appeared once in the original thread. In the hollaforums.com page the ">" character was removed, but it is still identifiable that said lines were originally prefixed with ">" in order to make green text. In the archive of the acutal thread no one quoted anyone else with ">"; green text was only used in order to change the meaning of the text.
* How that kinda dumb website also modified the text: "8chan" or the link to 8ch.net or 8chan.net or whatever the URL was at that time to the root directory of the website was replaced with "Holla Forums" ("will probably kill 4chan and 8chan, two major players in getting him elected" → "will probably kill 4chan and Holla Forums, two major players in getting him elected").
* Original whitespace was simplified: "cynical mass- rectification of severhead (part 3) [best song ever OP]" → "1. cynical mass- rectification of severhead (part 3) [best song ever OP]"
* The name of most of the posters in this thread was probably "Anonymous" or some anonymous name. This website made all of them random occidental names. Sometimes multiple posts from the same poster were asigned different names to make the site look more legit; however, ironiclly it made it look less legit.
* *The only omitted/missing post: "49 [\n] 50" (2 posts where the one between the two is missing) → "49 [\n] >>7027268 [\n] 50" (3 posts, from the original thread)
The aforewritten https://hollaforums.com/ web page had the following text: "29 months ago" (when viewed in 10/13/2019), "30 months ago" (when viewed in 10/18/2019), and "http://web.archive.org/web/20170508044423/advocacy.mozilla.org/en-US/net-neutrality [\n] 29 months ago" (when viewed before 10/18/2019), so the thread's OP was posted in May 14-18, 2017. This was probably posted to /pol/: http://web.archive.org/web/*/https://8ch.net/pol/res/* I had a realization some days after writing this (I wrote this before 10/20/2019): it was posted to /b/. Some text in this description was crossed out and some text was added as a result of this realization. Previous identifier: "8chan_thread_May_2017". Previous title: "8chan thread from May 2017".
File "0.txt" has text which was copied and pasted from view-source:http://web.archive.org/web/20170515182836/http://8ch.net/b/res/7027063.html; this file was renamed to "8chan-b-7027063-source-code.txt" in Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 6:13 AM GMT.
