Agreed so much. I used to listen to this snippet on loop while waiting for him to reappear on the stream, and I'm still so bummed it hasn't shown up anywhere else! I'm just glad other people feel my pain haha

EDIT: I'm gonna be honest, I just had a couple moments where I felt like I missed the lo-fi reverb a little bit. I guess I got really used to it! But it's so amazing to hear all the little sounds that were lost before, and to hear that VOICE so much more clearly.
EDIT #2: Ok I finally get the hype for Higgs. I always far preferred Rushes (maybe my fav Frank track) but now I definitely appreciate Higgs a lot more than I used to. I guess I'm only comparing them to each other because for a long time we thought they were called "Rushes" and "Rushes To" respectively

what cover did the CD have when loaded into iTunes by those who bought it?
CD-DA can contain some basic metadata via CD-TEXT (i.e., artist name, album title, track title), but not artwork.
If any artwork is displayed when you put the disc into your computer and try to rip it with something like iTunes, the artwork is being downloaded from somewhere on the Internet based on the artist and title fields when the software tries to retrieve metadata for the album. If you have a CD version of an album that exists in the iTunes Store or on Apple Music and you retrieve the metadata for the disc automatically before ripping in iTunes, it'll usually just copy the tags from the store.
It never came out digitally. But when Endless songs were streamed on blondedRADIO, the black cover art was used, indicating that to be the official album artwork.
Also, I'd like to raise the point that surely the streaming cover is still the official cover? We didn't switch out our Blonde covers because he also inverted the colour on the Vinyl edition. Thoughts?
I support this 100%, white is just the vinyl cover. Black is the official digital cover.

I already put that in the main post. It's the best one I've seen, but still not exact; the spacing of "ENDLESS" & "Frank Ocean" between the photos seems off.

Last night I got the email that said my DVD+CD will be coming in the mail this Saturday.
Back in 2013, My Bloody Valentine released their first new album in 22 years. I bought it on vinyl, which came packaged with a CD version of the same album. I put the CD in the CD player in my car, and that's where it stayed for five years, until last night, when I tried ejecting it and had to use a pair of needlenose pliers in order to extricate it, on account of the fact that I literally never listen to CDs anymore and the ejecting functionality had all but atrophied. It seems to be working now so w/e, but I thought that was funny.
I think the black cover is still the official one? Anyone else?

The lyrics in Comme Des Garcons are slightly different- he says "we were dating on the side" instead of "we was dating on the side"
Does Rushes have an additional harmony vocal for some words after 2:06? I feel like when he first says it was you and me, the me has a higher harmony than usual for example

Hey guys, I’m having trouble syncing these files to my iPhone using the old local files download on computer, sync to phone trick. I’ve disabled firewalls, set WiFi to private not public, etc. I’ve used this before to download Acid Rap, and that works fine.
The difference here is that the local files can be put into a playlist on desktop, but when the playlist is viewed on mobile, no songs appear. this is different from before, where songs were grayed out. http://imgur.com/HIdARMp is an image of the problem. The playlist on mobile says there are 18 songs, but no songs appear.
Are these songs being blocked by DRM copyright? Anything helps. I’ve viewed countless guides, but none seem to have the same issue. Thanks!

Crossposting but finally got to spin the LP today. Rushes and In Here Somewhere both sound fucking incredible. The whole thing is great but those two are highlights for sure.

I used an app called ‘Browser as documents manager’ to download the zip file and the app called ‘Downloader’ to unzip it and play. A little long winded because it’s not in the music app but it’s worth it ;)
Neither ALAC or FLAC are compatible with Spotify though...

Just listened to the Apple Music version again, wow that was trash compared to 256kbit/s AAC haha - Although i could go without the extra synth on Alabama, Samphas voice alone is heavenly. Glad we have both :)

It used to be a 10/10, now its a 11/10. Still feels like a bunch of demos, but a bunch of demos that work to create a great project.
It wont let me add the ALAC file to my iTunes library on my macbook, am I doing something wrong or is this happening with anyone else? It's playable through iTunes but wont let me add it
Nevermind just realized it just added it onto the version of Endless i already had on my phone

You need the ALAC (Apple Lossless Audio Codec). I think you can upload that straight into iTunes
I download the version that had all the track names and art and when I go to open with iTunes iTunes just sits there and does nothing
Does anybody know why the lyrics sheet says "46 minutes of 120 hours in the life of Frank Ocean," but the album is only 39 minutes long? Am I missing something?

You have to download it on your laptop first then transfer it. If you have an iphone you download the ALAC version. If you have an android some of them can play FLAC but not all.
Question about the stickers on the front of the vinyl. Are they pealable / removable?

Download it on your computer, enable iCloud music library and put it on iTunes, it should automatic sync to your phone.

I put the 320 version on my spotify, but the track lengths are all fucked up. they all play fine and the correct amount, but if you try to skip to a certain part of the song it just goes to the next track. I swear i will never have a perfectly convenient version of this album

Some of you guys are super fucking nazis when it comes to this album. No, Frank will not call you a fake fan if you have "Impietas / Deathwish (ASR)" listed as "Impietas+Deathwish" instead.
Also, what is with this mad quest for the perfect FLAC? I am an audiophile, I have $2000 speakers in my bedroom. Speakers can make a world of difference in audio output, but from the countless tests that I've done, I still have not found a single album that sounds any different in FLAC quality than 320 kbps.
