    The Syrian regime recruited, funded, and sent terrorists to Iraq to attack Coalition troops, The ISF, and Shi’a civilians. Then it rounded up those who returned and put them in jail. Then it released them to discredit the Syrian revolution. Still stand by your statement?

    This will be a lengthy investigation but very troubling that the police fired at the suspects with so manny cars nearby and even used some for cover. The UPS driver that was taken hostage by the robbers and a nearby motorist were killed.

    Really offensive to suggest that the reasons are religious or cultural. Indonesia is the most populated Muslim country. Tunisia is an Arab country. Both are democracies.

    Why are non-Syrians so ready, willing and set to give up and concede that “Assad has won” when Syrians themselves the ones dying haven’t given up and are actually very energized? Assad has lost! He doesn’t control Syria’s borders, territory, economy or people, even with help!

    Why do we need a way forward. Who is losing sleep right now over Assad not rebuilding the country he destroyed. His people? He killed and exiled them and those who are left cannot possibly ever benefit from whatever is rebuilt as long as he is in power.
