The extent/level of #Turkey's engagement in #Libya in the coming weeks will be a decisive factor in #Libya's crisis. #Erdogan told party members the MoU signed with GNA will stand as long as the GNA remained intact. The only way the GNA can remain intact is with Turkish support.

The Turks & their weapons have started arriving in #Misrata & #Tripoli. A different kind of engagement by the Turks is underway. Journalists/analysts who spend most of their time in Tripoli/Misrata only to report on the LNA & their foreign backers should get cracking on. #Libya

on why it's critical to tackle all forms of criminality from the militia cartels to their jihadi counterparts in ISIS or their kindred spirits the Ansar Al Sharia. Appeasement against them is a sure recipe for further chaos.

There seems to be growing consensus that #Haftar is now able to capture #Tripoli in the next few months (still, a lot can change).This consensus is now shared by the GNA’s FM Siala. However, some are clearly trying to spin this in op-eds/comments in an attempt to distort reality.
