NEET 2020 – National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the NEET 2020 application form on December 2. NEET aspirants will be able to fill the application form till December 31. The authority will conduct NEET 2020 on May 3 in pen and paper-based mode in 2546 exam centres across 155 cities in India. NEET 2020 prospectus has been released on December 1, 2019, and the latest changes can be checked below. The official NEET 2020 website i.e. ntaneet.nic.in has been activated by NTA on November 30, 2019, while the details will be updated soon. The details for NEET website is available below. From 2020, NEET will be the single entrance exam for all UG medical courses in the country including AIIMS and JIPMER. NEET 2020 admit card will be available on March 27 for candidates who have successfully filled the application. After NEET 2020 concludes, candidates can check the NEET answer key by leading coaching centres on exam day. NEET result will be declared on June 4, 2020 in online mode along with the final answer key and qualifying cutoff. NEET qualified candidates can apply for All India counselling conducted by MCI tentatively in June while counselling for state admissions will be thereafter.

NEET 2020 latest news and updates

    December 2, 2019: The NEET application form 2020 has been released an hour later when it was expected to release. A link to fill the application has been provided above.
    December 1, 2019: With the new UTs of India, Kashmir and Ladakh has opted to stay out of 15% All India Quota scheme. Therefore, aspirants from these UTs will be required to fill self-declaration form for allotment of seats under AIQ. All the seats under Kashmir and Ladakh will be granted using NEET 2020 scores.
    December 1, 2019: While filling the application form of NEET 2020, aspirants need upload their Class 10 passing certificate along with passport size photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression. The file size should be between 100 kb to 400 kb.
    December 1, 2019: Only Leh city from Ladakh (UT) has been added as a new centre. This year, NEET 2020 will be conducted in 155 major cities of India. With a total of 18 centres, Maharashtra has highest number of NEET exam centres 2020.
    December 1, 2019: The admission to AIIMS and JIPMER after merging under NEET ambit is clear now. As per NEET prospectus, seat allotment in 15 AIIMS and 2 JIPMER institutes will be done by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) through NEET scores.
    December 1, 2019: As per the official brochure, NEET application fee for unreserved and reserved categories has been increased. For the session 2020-21, the application fees for general category is Rs. 1500 from 1400 in last year. While, the fees for SC/ST/PwD/transgender, the registration fees has increased to Rs. 800 and for OBC-NCL/general-EWS, it is Rs. 1400.

Through an official one-liner notice, NTA has notified that the application form of NEET 2020 will be available from 4:00 PM on December 2, 2019.
