1/ Osama al-Khaled, died on Monday in a hospital in Damascus after his health worsened inside Adra central prison as a result of torture and poor conditions of detention. He was nicknamed the "doctor of orphans" in Daraa governorate, where he worked.http://nedaa-sy.com/en/news/17161

3/ He is one of the first doctors to join the ranks of the Syrian revolution in 2011. He participated in the providing first aid services to the demonstrators, who have been injured by the Assad regime's forces and he was appreciated because he asked no money from those in need.
