Regardless of your opinion on the Cybertruck please keep the discourse civil.

Damn they should have hired you to designed the stage they revealed the truck on.
I had no idea that they were making it small enough to fit inside a gaming PC.
im with you. i thought it was the ugliest thing ever, and a complete joke of a car. Now im hoping they make a CyberCar.
this sub is having a field day with the cybertruck and I’m all for it.
It is kinda funny how people like this cybertruck but cyberpunk as a genre is all about corporate villains. Elon musk is straight up corporate villain.
He does not let his workers unionize and does really shady stuff behind the scenes. I Will add links later
He’s just being literal about creating the dystopian cyberpunk future and it’s aesthetic as imagined in the 80s. It’s lovely
It's only a matter of time before he gets involved in the illicit arms trade.
Honestly, while THAT is horrible, it's small fries compared to what he is doing right now in Bolivia. He (along with Bolivian military, the CIA, and Bolivian business owners) recently held a coup against the democratically elected president because Elon/Tesla wanted access to Bolivia's lithium deposits. Union busting pales in comparison to holding a coup for access to a country's resources. He really is EVIL. Please, anyone reading this, don't buy his car.
and to anyone who thinks i'm just a crazy conspiracy theorist, this is hardly the first time the west has held a coup against a democratically elected latin American government for access to their resources.
your purchases have power, you can't simply ignore the externalities of the products you buy, if you buy this truck, the blood of indigenous Bolivians is on YOUR hands.
Cybertruck interest on a cyberpunk subreddit?
...Crazy
Seeing it spammed everywhere else is kinda annoying, but this is probably one of the only subreddits where Cybertruck stuff makes sense to post.
It's very cyberpunk to co-opt cyberpunk to advertise luxuries most of us will never afford, I guess. r/hailcorporate
Edit: I assumed it was more expensive, but I'd still call it a luxury.
what's more cyberpunk than blindly worshiping corporations
oh no, the apartheid tech bros are here
Did the unnecessary hate from most people initially also trouble you?

I still cannot get why someone says it's ugly
Probably the same person who say HK city layout is ugly
They don't have the cyberpunk souls
There currently aren't any side mirrors or cameras-as-mirrors. And even then, a single drop of water can obstruct most of a lens.
No crumple zone for frontal crashes. No pedestrian friendly front bumper. Hard edges just to make any potential crashed that much more devastating to bikers, cyclists and pedestrians.
Those high sides on the truck bed make it unusable from two of its three sides.
No apparent turn signals, or apparently functional headlights.
Didn't know r/cyberpunk was about corporate hype for flashy but fundamentally bad design.

They will add as it's required by law, the auto pilot cameras are there though, well hidden.

See the current tesla's for their high safety rating/crumpling.

The vehicle stops on it's own and eventually drive on it's own. lmao.
We are in the future buddy, we will eventually have the lowest incident of pedestrians killed ever because of auto-sense stops.
Those high sides on the truck bed make it unusable from two of its three sides.
The truck can lower itself. Also it's hardly a show stopper
No apparent turn signals, or apparently functional headlights.
Of course there is. Not sure why you try to make that a point, you are just making it up.
Didn't know 📷r/cyberpunk was about corporate hype for flashy but fundamentally bad design.
We are about cyberpunk through and through.
I'm so sick of seeing this angular metal box at this point.
It's a quarter of my feed for almost a week now.
When I saw it the first time I thought it was a joke by some hobbyist in a scrap yard
Dumb question: is this a fan art render or an official promotion shot from the company?
It started looking like the ugliest car i've ever seen, but every post in this sub make me like it a little bit more.
I loved it at first sight, but now I quite hate all this buzz making it f'cking mainstream. I wouldn't be surprised if all those broken glasses were just a stunt of viral marketing.
all the tesla-lemmings actually think untreated, unpainted steel was never done before. LMFAO ! There is a reason no one uses it.
I wonder if the only people on whom this this thing "grows on" are ones who are not ready to shitcan the Musk cult.
I love the Cybertruck design. Its something about the sharp angles that captivates me, similarly to the Countach
If it looked more like a truck instead of a low poly count Prius, I would love it. The interior looks nice, but that oblong triangle body is q hard pass for me.
I loved it for the first minute I saw it. I hate it more and more with each passing minute.
