I live in Florida, one summer it was especially hot and it was causing my husky to get a heat rash from all his fur so we did shave him. Other than that you really shouldn’t.

I am hoping to god that this is a medical groom for something. Though I’m not sure what could necessitate a full body clip with a medical blade except for heavy tick infestation or severe demodex. Actual skin looks healthy though.

Cutting a dogs coat makes it so they can't regulate there body temperatures. It's allways a good idea to get a vets second opinion on cutting before you do it, cause often it will make it worse

This is reposted a lot, and yes never shave a husky. However if I remember correctly in this case the husky had a bad skin condition that needed to be treated. So the vet had to shave it. Not a groomer.
