    it’s really important that we recognise this as something not necessarily existing bc of the palestine/israel issue. it’s predominantly a religious issue which only manifests as a political one in uneducated communities (and tbf most of the participants aren’t even palestinians)

    correct. but also our communities demand that jews constantly confirm that they’re not zionists simply for identifying as jewish or saying their grandparent(s) were/are jewish. muslim communities are undeniably, deeply antisemitic (regardless of the palestine issue).
