PPCC Tuition

Part of our mission is to provide educational opportunities accessible to all, one way we do that is through affordable education. PPCC has some of the lowest tuition around.

Course Specific Fees/Charges

Some courses require additional fees for varied reasons. See courses that require additional fees.

Residency in the State of Colorado

To be considered a Colorado resident, a student must show proof of residency in the state for the immediate 12 months prior to the start date of the semester, and meet other requirements. If you are a new student who has been classified as a non-resident and feel you are a resident or if you are a continuing non-resident student and feel you now meet residency requirements, you must petition for this change by the first day of the semester you plan to attend. Turning in a petition does not guarantee you will be changed to resident status. If your appeal is denied and you do not drop your classes by the drop date, you will have to pay non-resident tuition.

Tuition Refunds/Adjustments:

To receive a tuition refund or adjustment, students must drop classes by the deadline listed in the class schedule. No refund or adjustments will be made after deadline unless documentation of extenuating circumstances, such as extended illness of the student or immediate family member or extended unplanned military service, can be provided. Tuition Appeal forms are available digitally on the PPCC.edu website under registrar forms. Tuition Appeal Medical Documentation forms must accompany the tuition appeal form if the appeal is medically based. Appeals for past school years cannot be considered. Contract programs may have different refund procedures. Please email tuitionappeal@ppcc.edu with any questions about the refund/adjustment process that relates to tuition appeal.

BankMobile

Pikes Peak Community College has partnered with BankMobile, a financial services company focused solely on higher education, to bring a new method for receiving tuition refunds. For more information about BankMobile, visit this link:  https://bankmobiledisbursements.com/refundchoices/.

Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) Program.

Residents of Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming qualify for a special tuition rate. WUE students are not eligible for the Colorado Opportunity Fund stipend. The student must mark on the application for admission that he/she seeks admission as a WUE student. Requests for WUE enrollment must be done each semester. Contact the Enrollment Services Center at 719-502-3000 for additional information.
