This is NOT untrue The game uses the NAND flash memory as RAM Flash memory is limited in the number of writes it can withstand and should not be used as RAM, as RAM is constantly rewriting, especially in this game Your console will die faster than others in the long term

I'm not the one with this info, but this is what's been going around from emulator-savvy users Your guess is as good as mine if it's true but what I do know is that nothing in a game console is permanent, things (especially flash memory) get worn down from frequent use
