“ブリキ三兄弟”で名を馳せたブリキ玩具メーカー・メタルハウス（旧マルミヤ工業）の三男として、ブリキおもちゃの開発に携わる。その後独立し、ブリキ玩具工房・ロボットアートを主宰。ブリキ玩具の試作、修理を一人でこなしながら、ブリキおもちゃの魅力を今に伝えている。
He was born as the third son in the family who runs Metal House (previous Marumiya Industries), the tin toy maker which was renown for “Tin Brothers” and grown up to develop tin toys. He moved on to set up and represents his own atelier, Robot Art. As evangelist of tin toys, he does the all, from prototyping to repairing.

It is magic by which a flat iron plate turns into anything. The art, truly it is. Expertise of various craftsmen are poured into and more than hundred mould are used just for one model. Mr. Miyazawa, who contributed all of him, tells you tin toy is himself, all of him.
世界的に熱狂的なファンをもつ『スター・ウォーズ』のブリキフィギュア。なかでも「R2-D2」は宮澤さん思い出の一品。
Tin figures of “Star Wars” that have a lot of admirers. Among the all, “R2-D2” is Mr. Miyazawa’s most memorable one.
修理に用いる部品は何十年前のネジ一本でもどこにあるか把握しているという宮澤さん。まさにブリキは生活の一部となっている。
Mr. Miyazawa know where all the parts for repair are kept to the extent where he is sure of a screw which is used decades ago. Tin toys are really a part of his life.
作業場に飾られた金型。「抜き」や「絞り」など、巧みなプレス加工で立体的な形状を仕上げていく。これも職人のなせる技だ。
Moulds displayed at the atelier. Exquisite technique of pressing make fine three dimensional form possible. It is also an art of craftsman.
