Fake Michigan State Police trooper spotted in Handy Township

(WXYZ) — The Livingston County Sheriff's Department is warning motorists about a fake MSP Trooper who has been spotted in Handy Township.

Deputies say the suspect was in a dark 2008-2010 Chevy Tahoe when he was spotted in the area of Layton Road and Fowlerville Road.

The suspect is described as a white man, about 5'10" tall in his late 20s to early 30s.
