The #GIDYVR panel was excellent although Jonathan Kay did hog the floor a bit much! The room was excellent, larger and sparklier at the PanPacific Hotel on the waterfront of Vancouver.
I managed to meet up with all the women I've known since I got into this discussion nearly 3 years ago as well as TWO amazing women from the Lower Mainland. Radfems.ca sisters from the Island were there too.
It was the most fun and raucous meeting we've had yet. People actually felt free to ask questions but sadly so many men couldn't leave airtime for women who are slower to put their hands up.
The notorious (in a bad way) Morgane Ogre was there and Jonathan Kay (he was almost inappropriately pro-trans though) insisted on using female pronouns and demanding we listen to the guy! LOL. My mind went into a blur of rage due to what this ogre has done to me and so many others I know so I have no idea what he said. Something about why people aren't approaching this from a legal angle! LMAO. As if. He was an embarrassment to himself but there were some strong supporters of letting the poor suffering Tim speak.
My empathy has worn too thin to have any respect for this man though I know that's not the righteous way to be. I am simply so much more interested in women.
Bunch of us went to a Chinese Restaurant in EastVan and had marvelous delicious meal and chat.
Sorry to the women I got separated from in my rush for dinner! Hope to see you soon.
I highly suggest you get your tickets quickly when the next meeting is held. The room wasn't nearly as full as it could have been thanks to the last minute change of venue!
ʟᴀʏʟᴀ ᴀʟᴇᴥᴀɴᴅʀᴏᴠɴᴀ
Radical feminism is not man-hating. It is possible to separate the man from his deeds (in a sense!). It would be a complete waste of time for women to spend it hating. Takes too much energy.

It's hard for me to understand how anyone can be a conservative though. Many women would not survive without programs made via the public paying taxes. We'd be going back to the darkages if we capitulate to conservatism in that sense.

Of course we believe everyone should be responsible for themselves until that breaks down and someone needs extra help such as single mums for example. Conservatism in general is not good for human beings because it supports corporations rather than human beings.

The basic ideas of radical feminism are simple. I think a lot of people are shocked at how basic they really are. As 'radical' means 'root' in this case, we are simply going to the root of women's liberation which is to stop male violence - hopefully with men's cooperation!

It's true though that the average radfem does have a leftist bent as we are pro-human, no pro-corporation. (Serious)

I tried posting this in TwoX, but it was immediately removed, so I hope it's okay to post here.

The title is abrasive, but I just don't know how else to say it. This is something I've been battling in my mind for a long time, and despite my efforts to be optimistic and positive, my contempt for the opposite sex has only grown. Anger, disgust, resentment, and fear are definitely major factors. I think most men are unnecessary and useless at best. Admittedly, I do have men in my life whom I love and care about and have healthy relationships with. I love my husband, a few male family members, and friends, but aside from a few exceptions, I think men are awful and should stop being such assholes.

I'm sure it will be of no surprise to anyone, but I've experienced sexual abuse at the hands of several men in my lifetime. I was sexually, physically, and emotionally abused for years as a kid by a "trusted" family member. I was in a relationship with an adult man as a young teen, in which I now realize was an exploitative and pedophilic relationship. He manipulated me to get what he wanted, including 3somes with his(adult) friends, and even then it was never good enough. He cheated on me and gaslighted me constantly. He dumped me when he found out he had gotten me pregnant. I later had a miscarriage.

During my early 20s, it was absolutely repulsive the way men behaved around me and towards me. The way the spoke about and treated women was appalling. The way they were incapable of having empathy, compassion, or any kind of connection or friendship with a woman, shocked and disgusted me. I deliberately do not have any male friends, and have no desire to. Sooner or later, they try to have sex with me, usually when my defenses are down, and then cry victim and act offended when I say no.

Despite all this, I was somehow fortunate enough to find my husband-- who was raised by women, and therefore actually recognizes women as people, and not just human shaped cum receptacles. He contributes equally to the household chores, emotional labor, child rearing, etc., and is in general one of the best men I've ever known. He's the exception.

(WARNING: Sexual assault description below)

On my 24th birthday, my husband was out of town for work, so I had dinner and drinks with my girlfriends, came home, and went to bed. A man broke into my home in the middle of the night and raped me in my sleep. I froze and pretended to be asleep at first, but he then tried to anally rape me and I snapped. I bit the living shit out of him, to the point where I felt my teeth sink through his flesh and grind down on his bone, and I kicked him flying across the room, threw everything I could at him and screamed like a banshee as he fled, then immediately called 911. As soon as police arrived (all men), it became clear that they were not there to help. They made it clear that they didn't believe me and interrogated me relentlessly, trying to poke holes in my recollection of events. Why would I fucking lie? Did they not see the blood all over my face, clothes, bed, the chaos strewn about everywhere, the cuts and scrapes on my body, or my hysterical sobbing? Oh, but I had drank that night (because I'm an adult and it was my birthday), so "no prosecutor would find me to be a reliable witness." Don't ask me what any of that had to do with being raped by a stranger in my sleep.

They had me outside on the sidewalk as they questioned me, and my neighbors were outside eavesdropping as they asked me the most humiliating and degrading questions, with zero concern or empathy, or really any regard for me as a human being. "*Why were you sleeping without panties on while you had your period? How did he rape you if you had a tampon in? How did he penetrate you anally without lube? Why didn't you scream and fight back right away? Did he shove his fingers in your anus, or just his penis? How many thrusts did he engage in while he penetrated you? Did you become aroused? Did you achieve orgasm?" It was at this point that I broke. I screamed/sobbed and told them all to get the fuck out of my house, drop the report, and leave. I'll NEVER forget the way they rolled their eyes and the looks they gave each other like, "Typical lying slut, we got her to crack boys! Another fake rape accusation like we all knew it was, great job!"

I suppressed that and never dealt with it for about 5 years, but it's started to manifest and poison my mind. All I see is the harm and suffering men bring to everyone. I see the way men speak about and treat women in real life & online, and it's appalling. I see the news, where every fucking day there's hundreds of men arrested or prosecuted for heinous crimes against other men, women, and children. Poor men, rich men, powerful men, powerless men, doctors, police, priests, teachers, celebrities, married men, single men, young men, old men, it's literally ALL CATEGORIES of men, and it's nonstop. There's a man raping, abusing, killing (or all of the above) another man, woman, or child somewhere every second of the God damn day, 24/7/365. Men committing horrific violence and sex crimes against everyone. Men starting wars, committing genocide, men committing mass shootings, men bleeding the life out of our planet and destroying our environment for profits, men getting slap on the wrist sentences for heinous crimes, men like Epstein and his pals getting away with trafficking and raping girls, and nobody fucking does anything about it. Whenever we learn about some vicious, depraved crime, everyone automatically KNOWS there's a man behind it, but apparently we all just accepted that men are shit and it's to be expected? Why is the bar SO LOW for men?

I'm so sick of it, and I can't pretend it's not affecting me. I have zero hope for men, and I don't know how anyone trusts them at all whatsoever. It'd be great if men could stop raping and abusing and murdering people every fucking day, or at least slow down, but nope. It's all day, every day, and has been that way since the dawn of the human race. To be clear, I don't wish violence or revenge or anything like that on men, I would just prefer they stopped inflicting violence and suffering against everyone on the planet. I don't want to think like this, but I really cannot unsee what I perceive to be the true nature of men. My question is, how do I change this toxic mindset and stop viewing the other half of the population like this? How do I undo the deeply ingrained negative perception I have of men, especially with what we constantly see in the news every day and in real life?
submitted by /u/Benzodiazequeens
[link][comments]

When TRAs say that misgendering, not mentioning or desiring female only spaces, services etc trans people is "literal violence", all the while TRAs are endorsing/ promoting actual violence and assaults, and transwomen are committing actual violence and assaults, yet it is the transwomen who are vaulnerable and oppressed and it is women who are the oppressors. Honestly the mind boggles, that most be some seriously fucking strong cool aid they drinking
It's depressing to see women pat men on the back for wearing a gown to a gala. These threads keep popping up in gender critical groups on FB. The attitude is that if we want to abolish gender, we have to support men who are defying their own gender roles. The problem is that they are just switching one stereotypical role for another.
There is no quid pro quo here. Men are not oppressed by sex. Cross-dressing billionaires paid off colleges and clinics to recategorize gender dysphoria out of the DSM-V in order to construct a political movement that would transform their own autogynephilia from a kink to a legally protected oppressed class. The fox bought the henhouse, and it's dinnertime.
Saying mean things to a man in a dress is not oppression. He can take off the fucking dress anytime he wants. There is nothing cute or rebellious about a man throwing on a gown for an award ceremony. He is essentially flaunting men's success at undermining our hardwon rights, and for that he deserves nothing but scathing criticism for being completely tone deaf toward the innate misogyny at the core of the trans agenda.

Generally, Spinster users are given warnings prior to suspension (except in the case of obvious spam or very severe violations), and the rules are interpreted a little more loosely for you all versus for Remote users (users on different servers). Remote users are usually banned upon a single violation, although those suspensions are sometimes lifted after a period of improved behavior. This is because we prioritize the freedom and safety of Spinster users above all else—this includes protecting Spinsters from harassment from other servers. This is clearly outlined in the Mod Handbook.
3. Moderators are not permitted to comment on the decisions made about specific user accounts. This is for user privacy, since Mods have access to view all posts by a user in the admin panel and may have other privileged information (such as real names, locations, and other context). Due to the privileged nature of the Mods/user relationship, Moderators commenting on actions taken against a user or in response to a report are likely to violate user privacy—therefore, we generally do not allow it. The only time Mods will respond to requests for information is if a user who submits a report and was directly negatively influenced by the actions of another user (ex. harassment or doxxing) requests a follow up on their report. However, local users always receive a note if moderation action is taken against them (such as deleting a post or issuing a warning), so you are welcome to ask them directly. This process is clearly outlined in the Mod Handbook.
4. A Spinster user who deletes their own account appears the same on the outside from an account that is suspended. We are currently considering UI patterns to improve this so it is more clear what content has been deleted by the user vs. a mod. You can weigh in on that here: https://gitlab.com/spinster-xyz/spinster/issues/109

They should shut up about this already, Making up stories about victimhood is not going to do them any favours when the truth comes out.
Someone just used the word 'volte-face', which apparently means 'about face' or flip. I am just waiting for the day when millions of people suddenly see the light and realise the troons have been lying all along.
Are these the men we are supposed to be 'kind' to? How do transmaidens square these men with their adored timothys? And there seem to be so very very MANY of them!
I love the UK one. It's full of grownups who are actually concerned about the cause. The US one is full of male assholes whining that they are being asked to support lesbians. I fucking hate it. I wish people would vet group admins. Looks like they ditched the moderator who was an anti-choice christian, but his replacement is barely an improvement. A Trump fan with an interest in tropical fish. Great. I'm sure he's up to speed on the issues the LGB is facing from the trans agenda. @LaylaAlexandrovna
