Hong Kong China Mega Thread: This is a really well put together video. It covers so many of the things that I've tweeted, but with a wider context and far more well organized. I'll add some additional depth on some of Dan's main talking points.

Tankman style circa 2019 Reason: Unknown Achievement: None Winner: Traffic Cone Result: I had a good laugh and hope you do, too.

  3. This could be the beginning of another good metaphor for the Hong Kong freedom fighters... Demanding power, while destroying their own electricity

  4. Important reminder: The Human Rights and Democracy Act also allows America to share information it collects on the ordinary people of Hong Kong with "likeminded" countries as well.

  5. Hawley's fear mongering is selling. It's going to keep getting more and more ridiculous Like with Huawei, Tiktok, and other targeted Chinese firms, you'll see more creative reasons to to block future innovative products from China Worry about the US knowing where your kids are

  6. Get inside the minds of Hong Kong's violent student protesters. Listen to student leader Joey Siu. These are the people who believe they should lead Hong Kong into the future.

  9. Check this out for more evidence of a court bias that authorities will have a difficult time working against. FYI, twitter had buried the following thread and made it unindexed from keyword searches 🤔

  10. Reminder, he was NOT a part of the protests. He was a mainland student, who experienced an assault before, fearing for his safety, and wore a bright reflective journalist vest to minimize being targeted by protesters. Out of 1000s of arrests, he's the first to be sentenced 🤔.

  11. This is suspicious tweet for Twitter to bury. The keywords aren't indexed in searches anymore, and I couldn't find it on my timeline. If I didn't have the direct link saved, I would have never found it We're going to start seeing how biased the courts are towards protesters more

  12. Glad you asked. Thoughts: You're their b**ch, not the other way around. Don't forget your place.

  13. It wasn't enough to beat that mainland student apparently

  14. This guy had a pretty convincing smile on his face beforehand. Look at how he coiled back his elbow and bent his knees to spring forward while taking the jab. This guy was out to kill.

  15. Wow. Bad China. I wish there was a reference, from a more noble country, for China to follow about how to handle a country, just off your shores, installing missiles from a rival power, so that they could have done better.

  16. This one apparently wasn't convincing enough.

  18. *Correction* for anyone who has already watched this video. Jimmy Sham is not already a district council member, he is seeking to be elected in the upcoming elections.

  19. Hong Kong protesters are mindless zombies overseas as well, keeping the "go back to where you came from" xenophobia alive and well, even in Germany too. "Speak Mandarin" *Speaks Mandarin* "Speak English" *speaks English* "Speak Mandarin" *Speaks Mandarin* "Speak Cantonese"

  20. Correction, this video is from UST, not HKU

  21. A really handy guide shared here, designed to illustrate the deeper meaning behind the Hong Kong protester's wardrobe used to fight for autonomy from China. It inspired me to contribute, by adding additional artwork to further celebrate these articles of freedom fighting.

  22. How Genuine Was The Hong Kong Protester's Outpouring of Support For The Muslim Community? Excerpt from latest Vlog Regardless how you feel about the spraying incident and police action here, there's another revealing tale of intent & character quality hidden within.

  23. Another clearer video of the dramatic fall and of people reaching over to hit this mainland student's head.

  26. Today one mainland student voiced support for HKU's president, and the mob found a good reason to beat him... A dramatic FIFA World Cup worthy fall.

  27. I know many restaurant/bar owners who support the police but won't dare say. They know they'll get a visit from these freedom fighters. When you own a brick & mortar shop in HK, you need not only walls of steel, but also ⚽'s of steel before admitting you support police.

If any of you see this guy's ridiculous Tweets just spam the second Tweet into his Tweet. He's a Fraud and Conman (aka Confidence trick) that should be routinely exposed.

  30. After this failed attempted murder, protesters have organized and somehow managed to obtain information about the exact location and room where Junius is being treated, in what seems to be an attempt to find someone to finish the job.

  31. Extra clarification on the first of the man begging protesters, that video is from the 2014 protests (I wondered why he didn't get beat) and apparently his restaurant has already gone bust from the disruption. Does anyone have any further info? I hope he is doing alright.

  32. It reminds me of this desperate taxi driver who spoke up months ago as well, who was responded to by a young man who says he's willing to sacrifice the entire economy to make his point, even though he did nothing to build it.

  39. Junious Ho was attacked. Early reports suggest he was stabbed (unverified) Unlike with Sham, there was an attacker found As this is fresh news, pay attention to the celebratory tone used by protesters, they might delete their words later, so let the true colour revealing begin
