    やはり日本の研究状況は極めて邪悪であると再確認した。研究に限ったことではないのだけど、いろいろな線引きができない人が多いから問題が生まれる印象。 仕事の時間とオフの時間の切り分けができてないとか、兼業との利益相反を整理しないとか、個人的な好き嫌いを対応に反映させちゃうとか

    List of Stewards of the Manor of Northstead 英国では国会議員を自発的に辞職する仕組みがないため、もはや存在しない Northstead 荘園の管財人という名目上の職を与えることで、国会議員の適格要件を失ったという形にするらしい。面白い。

    「私、能力は平均値でって言ったよね!」4 話を見た。岩トカゲの依頼書、この世界の言葉が英語なのは突っ込まないとして、penalty の綴りが間違っているし、一匹あたり 15 ゴールドのところの per one の順序もおかしい。 (まあ、異世界だし、英語に似て異なる言語なのかもしれないけどw)

    具体的にどんなフィルタが使われているか。 によると K2_ANTIALIAS_MASK は 7 で下位 3 bit。これは SerialEM の CameraController.cpp にて mZoomFilterType = 5 に設定される(なぜか 1 足して渡され、後で 1 引かれる)。

    SerialEM で antialiased reduction を行っているのは SerialEMCCD plugin の ReduceImage 関数。これは IMOD 内の libcfshr/zoomdown.c を呼び出す。アルゴリズム自体は Paul Heckbert の zoom というプログラムに由来する

    SerialEM は K3 の場合、Digital Micrograph から super-resolution の画像を受け取って、自前で antialiased reduction なるものを施して整数の画像として保存する。その仕組みを調査中……
