Seems extremely threatening, arguing that "Turkey could easily join forces" with adversaries of Qatar if they don't stop Al Jazeera critique and "weed out" journalists...accuses journalists of reproducing "terrorist talking points"; never saw an editorial like this before.

Seems kind of silly given Qatar would retain ultimate control of AJ. If they're allies, or strategically aligned, why not raise this diplomatically?

I've relied on AJ English for years now. I miss their American tv news network immensely.

We get attacked constantly. Personally this year alone the Pakistani army, the Iraqi government and friends of Hamas have talked to me about my reporting. I suggest you get in line Turkey.
