US policymakers long argued there was no threat by the YPG against Turkey but today's attack in Tl Abyad proves them wrong once again. YPG was in the business of capacity building for a conflict with Turkey all along. They never renounced or foreswore violence against Turkey.

CORRECTION: My mistake, The House actually adopted similar non-binding resolutions that recognised the Armenian Genocide in 1975 and 1984. Apologies. But sure it was adopted for the first time by the House on Turkish Republic’s anniversary.
