Fascinating: Turkey’s public broadcaster TRT is hitting back at Qatar-owned Al Jazeera due to its anti-Turkish incursion coverage in Syria. TRT isn’t only criticising AJ’s editorial stance on Turkey but also reporting on human rights abuses in Qatar. First time ever.

Well, the report was published 4 days ago. Turkish officials have met with the Qatari officials since the start of Operation Peace Spring countless of times in Ankara. Akar met with Qatari PM just yesterday. AJ’s coverage may have disturbed Turkey a bit.

I’m also pretty amazed by this coverage by TRT. This was the first one, TRT Word followed the lead.

One must emphasize that although it may be a first for TRT to FINALLY cover Qatari unfavorably, it certainly is NOT the first time AJ @AJEnglish covered Turkey unfavorably (should be noted that most of this AJ negative press had also been accurate!)
