New private school opening on San Antonio’s North Side

Braination, a San Antonio charter school network, will open a new private school, the International Academy of San Antonio, this fall in a building vacated by another charter school moving to its own campus.

It will have 100 students on the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Campus of the San Antonio Jewish Community on Military Highway, in the space formerly occupied by the Eleanor Kolitz Hebrew Language Academy.

The International Academy will be Braination’s first traditional private school, and will charge $12,000 annually in tuition. It will use an international curriculum, taught by international staff, superintendent and CEO Bruce Rockstroh said.
