    The same goes for interviews, press junkets, etc, by the way. I am in New York and I write about US culture, for a publication that is based in the UK (but accessible around the world thanks to the magic of the internet).

    PR friends, there seems to be some confusion about this, so: I am based in New York. I write about US culture for a UK publication. If your event is in New York, I want to go! If your event is in London, I probably can't go unless you fly me there.

    What’s a podcast you find uplifting? I need a palate cleanser after listening to a lot of true crime. Bonus points for podcasts who are positive but do not TALK about “positivity” (as a New Yorker it is against my vows to use this word unironically).
