    My understanding of current situation in NE . The exact positions of the Assad Regime is difficult to know as they are opening & removing checkpoints frequently. Based on US presence & anticipated areas of interest, I mapped out likely control.

    I could not agree more. Brett’s main selling point about then”SDF” was that it was almost 50 percent Arab. Ok. If it is, then why only highlighting the YPG component and only asking that Kurds get asylum? All are worthy whether Kurdish or otherwise.
