    “The fish sellers of Eminönü are history.” It seems the Istanbul city government will evict the fish sellers as of 1 November. A few years ago, most of the fish sellers were evicted on the Karaköy side. If this news is true, one of Eminönü’s most famed traditions will be dead.

    I've never understood this line. If you want to follow experts or people on the ground, you'll find many on Twitter. If you prefer to read people who only talk about K-pop or gardening there are plenty of those on Twitter too.
