    I believe this list excludes major city attacks like the one in Ankara. These are either cross-border shellings or bombing of YPG solely. This attached can help.

    Again, evidence of cross-border attacks by the / into is interesting, and would undermine a talking-point used by McGurk/etc. to defend the alliance with these people, but nothing fundamental in the argument is changed with or without such evidence.

    Important caveat: the evidence/argument about cross-border attacks from the /-held zone of Syria into is extraneous to this whole discussion. It doesn't change the nature of the problem, nor how Turkey will view/treat YPG.

    Interestingly, this list *doesn't* include the 17 FEB 2016 suicide-massacre by the / in Ankara, which initially claimed was planned and organised from the zone.

    Iran, whatever its malign activities in the region, has no direct and voluntary responsibility in the rise of ISIS. Period. Trying to link Iran to ISIS has an the same goal than linking Saddam to Al Qaida in 2002/2003.
