    There are many anti Assad Kurdish and Assyrian activists, politicians too. This is not a 'Kurdish-govt' deal but a PYD/YPG-govt deal. Since my field research in this has become much more clearer to me than it already was before.

    How have Syrians who joined revolution against Assad regime reacted to Kurdish-govt deal? One we spoke to from Raqqa said he was so afraid of its return that he fled last week to Tel Abyad, which is right in the centre of the fighting. w/ 1/
