    After balloting in Board of Governors today C. Feruta(Romania)got 14votes. 20 Governors voted in favor of R.Grossi(Argentina). For victory one of them needs to get 2/3 majority in the Board in the course of 2 remaining ballotings or elections will restart from scratch.

    編集者から飯山さんの本の帯に推薦文頼まれたんだが、「現地社会で研究者が素手で殴り合って知った　逃げも隠れもしないイスラーム法の真実！」といったおどろおどろしいコピーを送ったんだった。映画の予告編であるような感じで。これ編集者の仕事だよねむしろ

    そういえば拙著『イスラム教の論理』のオビにいれる推薦文をお願いした際、池内さんは最初「現地社会と素手で殴りあえる人材」みたいなことを書いてくださいました。私は気に入っていたのですが、こちらはボツになり別の文言が採用されました…。
