    It would appear that Turkey (and probably Russia too) just helped the US kill Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. A fascinating development. To put it another way, Erdogan (and Putin) just helped Trump rebut his critics when they say that pulling the troops from NE Syria was a boon to ISIS.

    Tbh, “exchanging information” or “coordinating” don’t mean Turkey was notified that US was about to kill or capture ISIS leader al-Baghdadi. This could be very well coordinating US military activities for de-confliction purposes, and if Incirlik was used for authorisation
