    the PKK/YPG started this mess when they bet on Assad's victory and helped him along in Aleppo. be careful what you wish for. they would have got better treatment had they backed the rebels to at least partial victory. 0 to do with ISIS.

    Tonight as the Kurdish people look up at the stars here in northern Syria, they have many big decisions to make. Where to send their families? Who can they trust? Can they reconcile with the Assad govenment? Can the trust Putin? And why Trump started all this mess to begin with.

    Pro \ analysts and journalists now expect too much from a regime that not able to: 1-control border crossing with Jordan 2-failing to control its militias in Alawite-majority areas 3-failing to secure Homs eastern countryside from ISIS without direct Russian support

    Yep, the Russian deal and US ceasefire deal allows Turkey to occupy the area between Tal Abyad and Ras al Ain. But they still don't have permission from Damascus. So in the future if Russia changes it's mind, this could change. Or not.

    Jeffery knows there is no way Turkey can accept any Kurdish group afflicted with PKK & he tried his best with sdf to tell them you have to change they did not listen. What Jeffery said at the senate he has been saying it for the last 15 years. Check the records

    Jeffrey for long has been known as a Turkish apologist and anti-Kurdish. He has done everything to undermine Kurdish gains not just in Syria, but in Kurdistan Region and Turkey, too.
