    I've not witnessed domestic, anti-corruption protests where a Foreign Affairs minister gets the bulk of the abuse - than let's say the PM or Finance/Interior ministers. Says a lot, really.

    I've been in Lebanon 3.5 years (which I realise isn't very long) & have rarely heard people criticise powerful politicians to this extent in public. The Bassil line becoming anthem-like - a song has been uploaded on soundcloud & refrain being heard everywhere

    Leb tweeps: can we make this gain as much exposure as possible? Our Lebanese Telecom Ministry is levying an illegal fee, practically a 'protection fee' (خوّة) In order to let citizens use what's essentially a free service.
