    Huge piece by showing how Turkey is essentially forcing Syrians in ES areas and Afrin to accept new ID cards registered with the TR MoI that erase their place of origin in favor of the whatever district they currently reside in.

    Since 10/14 HXP has published funeral footage showing 7 KIA, including one who seems to have been a YPG member as well. These pics also include one Asayish KIA, and then a MFS member and a man from a MC I can't make out. Haven't cross referenced the SDF/YPG/YPJ w/ others yet.

    Outside of these 2 TFSA KIA, found 3 others announced on non-official faction social media

    21 Oct 19: Two members of Jaish al-Watani's Furqat al-Hamza were killed by an IED in Serekaniye today, both men were from Bzaah, . A loyalist fighter was killed on the al-Manajir front by shellfire from SNA forces.

    14 more SDF announced KIA - 8 from Ras al-'Ain fronts (city as well as villages nearby), 2 from 'Ain 'Issa, 1 each from near Kobani, Tel Abyad, Tel Tamer, and Suluk, ranging from the 13th to the 20th

    18 Oct 19: 15 new SDF and YPJ martyrs have been released by the SDF press center. All but 2 were slain in Serekaniye; the other two were killed in clashes along the M4 north of Ayn Issa.

    Especially relevant today with Erdogan's "safe zone" plan that hinges on 'cleansing' the border regions of all populations (Kurds, Christians, many Arabs) refusing to accept his political project and replacing them with deported refugees viewed as more pliable.

    Kept in a paper file, the original Syrian IDs and civil registration extracts "are kept in a paper file...[after handed] over to the civil registry’s employee. Here, it is important to mention that these paper records could be damaged, burned or lost for whatever simple reasons."
