what does this mean in English?
The legislation is going to need more than four weeks, and even mentioning a hypothetical deadline of 30 June is like offering a deadline to client that you think they want to hear, even when you know you cannot possibly deliver.

I think the difference is that now the govt has had to publish the full WAB, and so it’s going to take a lot *longer* than four weeks because now MPs are going to start finding all sorts of things they don’t like?Oh no, that’s not the answer Johnson wants, so it can’t be right…

ha brilliant. it's a tricky period of time to pack for - the wee case too wee, the big case too big. I'd say, on reflection, it's probably legit quicker to negotiate Brexit than pack for a 4 day break, so maybe Nikki Da Costa was wrong all along here

When u acquire a new business or a merger as u full well know it takes months of preparation. Yet the biggest thing to happen to this country since the 40s & it's ok to push through in 3 days?! No point in lawyers any more if this is the case! Why bother with the small print?!
