    米軍がシリアに行っているなんて知っている米国人ほとんどいない。トルコとはNATOのしっかりした同盟で長年やってきて核まで預けているのに、クルドの山岳ゲリラとの「同盟」を優先しろって議論は成り立たないでしょう。

    当然トルコもそういう落とし所を考えてガバッと20マイル幅で安全地帯設けると言ってるが、恒久的にそんなに大規模に統治できないだろう。大きく言っておいて、少しずつ譲るカードにする。

    アサド政権がロシアやイランを引っ張り込んで生き延びると、最接近している。今回一時的にトルコが侵攻してクルド勢力を追い散らした上でロシアの後ろ盾でアサド政権が交渉して、ごく一部の国境地帯以外の大部分をアサド政権の支配下に戻していく、ロシアの監視下で、というなら受け入れそう。

    米トルコ合意の前に書いたコラムですが、論旨には影響は出ません。ネオコンとトランプが決別したのでワシントン一丸となってトランプ叩いてますが、シリアに米軍ずっと置いておいて、クルドの自治独立まで面倒見るなんて可能性はゼロでしょう。
