Left alliance, mostly due to association with former friends there and my uncle sitting on regional chairman`s position.

But they have tried to kick me out of the party due to my immigration stance for 3 times by now and since events in the last elections I`m strongly considering a jump to social democrats where dissent is somewhat allowed.

Yes, but mostly due to the economic burden and harm that immigrant workers have towards for example construction and their representative trade unions.

I hate to tell you that if you had a colossal failure in municipal elections, changing party will not help you. You will get party-jumpers stigma and probably you will not be taken as a candidate because of the stigma and your poor result in municipal elections. If you have critical thoughts about immigration, then changing to greens or SDP isn't going to help you. SDP is by far the most immigration friendly party together with Greens and RKP. You can either be on the left or you can be critical of immigration. Welcome to the new divided political Finland. Also I have to mention that it is harder to get through in regional elections than in municipal elections. You are going to need to do 4 years of systematic campaigning in social media and local newspapers to get through next time.

Not really considering the policies of your party since they got into the government. Besides parties and their candidates started to campaign only 10 months before the elections. I also have to mention that thanks to the resent purges(in particular the former vice-chair of your youth organization) within your own party it could end up being more harmful to join The Finns party.

I got the second highest amount of votes within my own party during the elections and if I had been member of socdems or greens I would be assuredly on a council seat. Since regional elections are meager 7 months away I think that now would be the optimal moment to switch before the elections.

Well it is entirely up to you. You have to consider did you get votes because of who you are or what party you were in. Also you can't be sure you will be taken as a candidate. Regional elections have more municipalities in them and less candidates can go for it so you cant be sure. You said you got 2nd most votes in your municipality in your party and didn't get through so I believe that your municipality is small. Small municipalities have it harder in regional elections because cities will dominate them. People in small counties will sometimes vote for popular city candidates but city people will not vote for small county candidate.

I suggest you rethink your politics entirely. Can you change party just for your personal gain? Where are your morals? Ofc I understand if you think SDP greens and left alliance all have the same policies.

With all the shit going down the lack of power in the populace and you're debating whether you'll find more use in another party.

The key is to form action groups and be able to survive when it all comes crashing down. Remember that pretty much anywhere you go in Europe outside of Hungary, Poland and etc want you dead. They want the women in your life to be enslaved and the men outright dead. It's a simple peaceful conquering there is no way to deny it, so prepare to defend yourself or lose.
